Three Poems

Isha Mital

Reflection

People see themselves in the water,
And paint what they see.
I see myself burning with the stars,
And am speechless at the grandeur
Of what I behold.
I'm not a man of talent.
I can never quite encapsulate
the fullness
of my own beating heart.

Untitled

Water
I am without
Though asked to talk about
So I open my mouth
And flow their fill

Box Dye

The plastic container
Should have
enough to paint the
whole sky blue, or so
I thought.
But it would only ever do
For me and you.
